If you love learning about iOS development and creating demo code, this gig might be for you.
I'm looking for a junior level iOS developer to help me research options for implementing new functionality in various app projects.
The ideal candidate is more than a get-the-job-done person. I'm looking for someone who has a passion for Apple, apps, and the understanding the underlying technology.
You should meet the following requirements:
- Good understanding of Swift language
- Good understanding of UIKit including controls, view hierarchies, and various layout techniques
- Built or contributed to apps in the app store
Some nice to have experience:
- Experience integrating third party libraries directly as well as with CocoaPods
- Familiary with third party BaaS and APIs (bonus points for Firebase)
- Worked through an iOS development course or book
- Watched various WWDC videos
- Attended user groups and development conferences
- Created tutorials or code examples in the past
This gig pays $25 / hour to start, 10-20 hours per week. I typically work Mon-Fri, 9-5p central time, so having similar availability is preferred. Generally, I'd prefer you pick a few time blocks that we would consistently work together.
