This privacy policy governs your use of the Chrome extension "DataCamp → LinkedIn Certifications".
- Data Collection and Usage The extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Certificate Data: The extension reads certificate details (course title, ID, and date) from the active DataCamp tab only when the user explicitly clicks the extension icon. Processing: All data processing occurs locally within the user's browser. External Transmission: No data is sent to any external server except for the official LinkedIn "Add to Profile" URL when the user chooses to save their certificate. 2. Permissions activeTab / scripting: Used solely to read the certificate information on the page currently open. Host Permissions: Access to datacamp.com is required to identify and extract certificate information. 3. Third Parties The extension interacts with LinkedIn by opening a new tab with the certification data pre-filled. Please refer to LinkedIn’s Privacy Policy for how they handle data once you are on their platform.
