Disable search from addres bar

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open about:config
  2. Disable both keyword.enabled and browser.fixup.alternate.enabled by setting them to false
  3. Success!

Google Chrome

  1. Open chrome://flags
  2. Search for Enable search button in Omnibox and toggle it to Disabled
  3. Success!
