clova2Mail ("the Extension") is a Chrome extension that integrates Clova AI with Gmail to help users compose and send emails more efficiently. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
When you authorize the Extension, we access the following Google account data via OAuth 2.0:
- Gmail (Send): To send emails on your behalf as directed by you through the extension.
- Gmail (Read/Modify): To read and manage email drafts and sent messages as needed for the extension's core functionality.
- Google Profile (OpenID, email, profile): To identify you and personalize your experience.
- We do not store your emails on our servers.
- We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
- We do not collect any data beyond what is necessary to provide the core functionality.
The data accessed through Google APIs is used solely to:
- Compose and send emails on your behalf within the Extension's functionality.
- Display relevant account information within the Extension interface.
We comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- OAuth tokens are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's secure storage APIs.
- No personal data or email content is transmitted to or stored on our servers.
- All communication with Google APIs is done over secure HTTPS connections.
The Extension uses the following third-party services:
- Google Gmail API: For email composition and sending.
- Clova AI (NAVER): For AI-powered email drafting assistance.

You may revoke the Extension's access to your Google account at any time by visiting Google Account Permissions and removing clova2Mail.
