Numbers

  • 95%/ Month retention (down from 99%)

  • 5.1M in revenue (up from 4.8M)

    • 27k / month in additional revenue
    • $12k / month in new profit
    • 1.23 developers / month in contracts sold.

Even stevens (Monthly Profit)

Brian, Tom, Kyle each split clients (Director). They are responsible for their own sales and retention.

Justin - responsible for 1/4 of new sales.

  • 18k Retention bonus for >95% retention
  • 18k Sales bonus. 1.5K / Month for profit/month exceeding $3k.

CEO

  • Smiles bonus - 2K / Month for profit/month exceeding $3k.

Considerations

Pros:

  • Fewer projects / folks for someone to manage. Easier to know what's going on.
  • Likely can bill for their own time.
  • Easy to calculate who "earned" what.

    Exception might be projects that come from the website, open source.

Cons:

  • Some clients are harder, others have more opportunity.
  • Joint efforts (like the website) are tricky.
  • Favors lots of consistent sales.

Kyle focuses on retention and getting QSLs to Brian and Tom. Tom, Brian, Justin focus on sales, both inside and outside.
