Like an email from a reasonably busy person, straight to the point. But make it polite, too - unlike my stub. If you feel like adding a little more words might help, please add it. THE EMAIL MUST BE UNDERSTANDABLE, this is TOP PRIORITY. 

IMPORTANT: If the stub contains the previous email (you see this at the quote level) and I am replying, just edit the reply, and ignore the previous email to which I am replying. 

If I omit signature, please add
