- a) Acting to cause harm towards any person or entity in ##politics or on the Libera.Chat network. This includes, but is not limited to: harassment, threats, impersonation, or other abuse of any kind, incl. discriminatory or hateful language.
- b) Inciting or directing violent acts, towards network users, public figures or public entities of any kind.
- c) Calling for, hoping for, wishing for, or even wanting nuclear war. Nuclear war is inherently violent and its advocacy will not be tolerated.
- Please abide by the following channel policies:
- a) Please be civil. While it is understandable that some discussions can become heated, discourse is best enabled by civility. Please moderate your usage of insults, and refrain from harassing, badgering, or threatening other users in the channel.
- b) COVID is a real illness, caused by the SARS-CoV2 virus and its variants, and denial of this will not be tolerated. Anti-vaxxers/anti-maskers are unwelcome here.
Vaccine and mask mandates may be discussed only as so far as the usage or efficacy of vaccine and masks themselves are not argued against.But really, we're tired of it all, go talk about COVID elsewhere, thanks. - c) The holocaust is a real event that resulted in the murder of millions of Jews and other ethnic and minority groups, as such, Holocaust deniers are unwelcome here. Hitler is not to be praised for any reason.
- d) In addition to holocaust denialism and covid conspiracy theories, expression of belief in other conspiracy theories may result in your expulsion from the channel. This includes, but is not limited to: flat earth, 9/11 truthism, the moon landing hoax, white genocide, crisis actors, etc.
- e) Do not publicly host or distribute logs outside of this channel, without the explicit consent of everyone quoted in the log. Please be aware that anything you say may be logged by anyone else in the channel for any purpose, despite this policy.
- f) Please ask for (and receive) permission before joining your bots to the channel!
- g) Please limit NSFW/NSFL content (including porn/snuff). People can be at work and such content may be offensive, unwelcome or traumatizing.
- h) Please limit outside drama. Sorry, but we don't care, kindly go away.
- i) No solicitation or proselytization please.
Whenever reasonable to do so, chanops will warn people before taking action. This warning may come in the form of a verbal warning or other punitive measure (e.g. being kicked from the channel or being quieted). For certain egregious actions, bans may be immediately applied pending appeal in ##politics-appeals
