For this particular role, we are looking for an individual with tenacity to learn and bridge between IT and DevOps. This is
an opportunity ripe for someone with general knowledge of a variety of systems, high availability solutions, automation, and
general business operational IT support. If helping people be efficient at their jobs motivates you, if learning and growing

Responsibilities
Provide support for both operational environment in St. Lucia as well as development environment in Austin. Assist with
on-call support for operational issues.
Perform all IT tasks for on and off-boarding employees.
Assist internal users with general business technology solutions, as well as develop technical skills to support engineering
software development cycle
Work with engineering and operation teams to gather and document requirements and acceptance criteria for IT and DevOps
investment.
Perform OS installation, patching, and user access restrictions.
Participate in defining strategies for automation and continuous process improvements.
Participate in incident response for continuous system enhancement and service reliability
Take initiatives for high level research for new technologies, get buy in from stakeholders, and execute on solution delivery
Contribute and manage system standards in security, naming, and other patterns based on industry best practices.
Root cause system issues and provide resolution and optimization
What Does it Take to Succeed?
Must Haves:
Alignment with OJO’s core values: Embrace Discovery, Relentlessly Improve, Be Fearless, Hire Great, Be Compassionate
2+ years in an engineering degree or equivalent
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge and experience with multiple operating systems such as Linux, Windows, Mac, and Mobile devices
Proven interests in OJO and attention for details

Strong collaboration skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and to manage multiple priorities
Understand system management, server architectures, network protocols, and other core technologies including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, Routing, and VPN etc.
Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python with a desire for continuous learning
Nice Haves:
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
Knowledge of Amazon AWS management and system monitoring solutions
Knowledge of code management and integration in shared repository
Expertise in Linux operating system management
