I say "animated gif" but in reality I think it's irresponsible to be serving "real" GIF files to people now. You should be serving gfy's, gifv's, webm, mp4s, whatever. They're a fraction of the filesize making it easier for you to deliver high fidelity, full color animation very quickly, especially on bad mobile connections. (But I suppose if you're just doing this for small audiences (like bug reporting), then LICEcap is a good solution).
I use tmux splits (panes). Inside one of these panes there's a Vim process, and it has its own splits (windows).
In Vim I have key bindings C-h/j/k/l
set to switch windows in the given direction. (Vim default mappings for windows switching are the same, but prefixed with C-W
.) I'd like to use the same keystrokes for switching tmux panes.
An extra goal that I've solved with a dirty hack is to toggle between last active panes with C-\
.
Here's how it should work:
Map | Action |
---|---|
<F1> | Causes Netrw to issue help |
<cr> | Netrw will enter the directory or read the file |
<del> | Netrw will attempt to remove the file/directory |
- | Makes Netrw go up one directory |
a | Toggles between normal display, hiding (suppress display of files matching g:netrw_list_hide) showing (display only files which match g:netrw_list_hide) |
c | Make browsing directory the current directory |
C | Setting the editing window |
d | Make a directory |
