[Gloomhaven] A micro-optimization of the POWER build for the Triforce class
A micro-optimization of the POWER build described as described by
Themris in https://imgur.com/gallery/xoBunR9. Disclaimer, I haven't
played the Triforce all the way through yet, so I'm making a lot of this
up / leaning on the original guide. Also a mild *item spoiler* below.
Observations:
1. The choice of Simulacrum at level 6 is a weak point in the POWER
build. COURAGE and WISDOM retain it in their final builds, but POWER
is going to drop it just 3 levels later.
2. Level 8 has a couple competing options. Reaching back for Pragmatic
Reinforcement maximizes the cheese, if there's light available to pay
for it. But reaching back for Boiling Arc is also reasonable for the
movement, especially if combined with [solo scenario item] and a +1
move enhancement.
3. Primal Duality is a core part of the final build, but if we take it
at level 4, we're not going to be able to use it for at least 2 levels.
Suggestion:
1. Take Boiling Arc at level 4. Or take it at level 3 and then Burial
at level 4, either way.
2. Reach back for Primal Duality at level 6.
3. Reach back for Pragmatic Reinforcement at level 8.
Result:
1. The final POWER build is unchanged if you bring Lava Eruption, but
you wind up with Boiling Arc *and* Pragmatic Reinforcement as flex
options.
2. In the mid levels, if you use Boiling Arc (top) to pay for Ice Spikes
(top), then you can use Stoking Hail for its stun top instead of its
element bottom.
