#California Water Districts

  • This data is linked to from data.gov but the links are broken. All contact email also seems to be down.
    • Taking some advice from opendata.stackexchange I used the way back machine on archive.org to download older working versions
    • I simplified the geometries a touch in QGIS - the files are still large and need to be worked on further
    • I converted to GeoJSON in EPSG: 4326. The data was originally EPSG: 26710
    • For more info or to request an updated version you should try to contact the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation ... good luck on that part.
