Gizmos to-do
1. Get LAPIS functioning
2. Port content to LAPIS
3. Port LAPIS to 1.7 and other MC platforms (Bukkit? Spout?)
4. Content:
EMP: Hit them where it hurts, in the machinery. Surges along any block that implements a power API, exploding all the way.
Polyfoam: A structural block a bit like IC2's foam. Comes in different formulations, which are selected by crafting with certain items. (Gizmos won't provide mod items necessary to craft polyfoams that are common among other mods and shared with the Ore Dictionary.) Up to 2? dusts can be combined into a single polyfoam can, which can place ~64 polyfoam blocks.
Polyfoam formulations:
Standard: No special ingredient, but used to create all other polyfoam types. A can of it is made from one slime ball, one sugar, and a bucket or empty can.
Dissolving: Made with water. When you dissolve it, any polyfoam blocks adjacent to it dissolve too.
Incendiary: Made with coal/charcoal dust. Burns very quickly.
Chromatic: Made with dye, colored.
Obsidian: Made with obsidian dust. Requires diamond-level tools to break, takes as long as obsidian to mine.
Illuminating: Made with glowstone, emits light as such.
Wicking: Made with sugar cane. When dry, absorbs water to become wet, and becomes dry again by transferring the water to an adjacent wicking polyfoam or by being in the sun.
Cryogenic: Made with ice. Cools lava to ice, becoming standard polyfoam in the process.
Stabilized: Made with ender pearls. Cannot be removed with solvent, only broken (destroying mobs or players within, if used in item or entity mode).
Polyfoam cans can be put in a handheld sprayer, which allows the player to place polyfoam by right-clicking.
The other way to place polyfoam is with a polyfoam blower: place it and fill it with polyfoam cans and it will flood empty spaces (from closest to furthest) starting at the face it is pointed at.
Polyfoam can also cover non-player entities and items, making them immune to lava and most other harm, but making them immobile and useless until de-foamed.
Polyfoam can be instantly dissolved to one slime ball with polyfoam solvent.
