Hey, I'm Ben Foxall - @Benjaminbenben / benjaminbenben.com

I'd be up for doing something about multi-device interfaces that I've been working on, it might be some kind of variation on this talk I did (or, exactly the same if I don't find the time to prepare!).

Hi,

I'd like to talk about scheduled website scraping with Node, based on my project http://www.crowdfunding-monitor.com/.

Thanks,

Matt

I'd be interested in doing a talk on Flight, twitter's web application framework. I've written a book on Flight and recently gave a 20min talk at Front End London

I can demo this - http://www.brandwatch.com/brandwatch-vizia/

It's a "second generation command centre"!

I don't really know what that means, but it makes visualisations using the Brandwatch API. It's a Node / Backbone app, also uses socket.io, D3, Highcharts, and a few other libraries. The esteemed Ali Lockie was on the team too :)

Hello Prem and others,

Happy to demo a simple expert system/inference engine we have developed in JavaScript, to possibly form part of a product for a startup.

Hi Prem at al,

I can demo my Jquery mobile and Phonegap mobile app (http://www.histograph.co.uk/) and show you how to get a GPS, camera enabled mobile app (with backend) on both Google's Play Store and Apple's App Store (and get past their review process) all for free* in weeks.

*almost free.

Alan.

Thank you, everyone. You're all in!

There'll be random order on the night. Let me know if you have a preference. Doors open at 7.15pm, for a 7.45pm start. We'll finish around 9.30pm ish.

(I think there's still room for latecomer speakers, if any).

Info for speakers:

Our projector is high-resolution. The native resolution is 1920 x 1080. If you want to plug in your laptop at 7.15pm to check everything works, please do. The projector has a standard VGA connector and we have thunderbolt adapters for Macs, including an older version, but if in doubt, please bring an adapter.

There'll be wifi, but consider showing something offline in the unlikely event that there's a problem with it.

The location and directions for the Lab for the Recently Possible are on L4RP.com.

If you need anything, just ask.

Hi All, for your info, I've just blogged about Hacking the Brackets shell, and the code is on github.

Best, Derek King
