Fallen Meteorites

Dataset Information

This is a dataset that contains information about reported fallen meteorites; it was originally posted by NASA and created by The Meteoritical Society. The data contains the name of the meteorite, an ID, whether or not the meteorite can be easily classified, the class of the meteorite, the mass in grams of the meteorite, the year it was found, and the longitude and latitude of where it was found.

  2. Does a certain class of meteorites fall during certain times?

Seattle Pets

Dataset Information

This is a dataset that contains information about registered pets in Seattle, WA; it was originally posted on Seattle.gov which has an open data portal. The data contains the date the pet license was issued, the license number, the name of the pet, the species of the pet, the primary and secondary (if applicable) breed, and the zipcode that the pet was registered under.

Nuclear Explosions

Dataset Information

This is a dataset that contains information about nuclear explosions from 1945 to 1998; it was originally created by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute. The data contains the date and year of the explosion, an ID, which country deployed the device, where the device was deployed, the source who reported the deployment, the latitude and longitude of where the device was deployed, magnitude and depth of the deployment, the purpose, the name of the device, and the method of deployment.
