What would you like to do?
Ruby On Rails using package manager instead of rbenv

Minimal Ruby On Kubuntu:

install: --user-install
update: --user-install

export BUNDLE_PATH="$(ruby -r rubygems -e 'puts Gem.user_dir')"
PATH="$(ruby -r rubygems -e 'puts Gem.user_dir')/bin:$PATH"

required for nokogiri sqlite3 execjs

$ sudo apt install ruby build-essential patch ruby-dev zlib1g-dev liblzma-dev libsqlite3-dev nodejs

Next, usual rails workflow

$ gem install bundler
$ gem install rails
$ rails new blog && cd blog
$ rails s
