We are searching an experienced backend developer for Moonshot Energy, a well-funded AI startup in the renewable energies sector located in Germany.
You will play a major role in helping us revolutionize and rethink the energy sector in Europe.
A substantial track record in backend development and the ability to overlap some Berlin local time for team meetings are a must-have.
- build & maintain backend dockerized microservices in Go and/or Swift
- own the development lifecycle including distribution
- collaborate with the team for the best user experience
- 4+ years in Backend development
- Experience in Swift, Go, or Both
- design experience in building stable, scalable RESTful APIs in a micro-service architecture
- experience in Docker
- Experience working with Continuous Integration & Delivery experience with agile & distributed software development (Kanban, Slack, Remote Meetings, etc...) values detailed documentation and meticulous organization
- experience in Kubernetes
- experience in iOS
- experience in Kotlin/Android
- strong open-source track record
- well connected to relevant developer communities
- experience with MQTT/AMQP
- work in an international team of truly gifted people
- full-time remote

- occasional travel for team meetings
