Thank you for using WABoost. This privacy policy explains what information the extension does and does not handle. Your privacy and data security are our top priorities.
WABoost is designed to run entirely on your computer. We do not collect, store, transmit, or have any access to your personal or sensitive data. This includes:
- Your WhatsApp account information.
- Your contacts, phone numbers, or message content.
- Your Browse history or activity on WhatsApp Web.
- Any files, images, or documents you send.
All data processing happens locally in your browser.
To provide features, WABoost uses Chrome's built-in storage, which saves data only on your computer or synced to your personal Google account.
chrome.storage.sync: We use this to save your Message Templates. This allows your saved templates to be available on any computer where you are logged into Chrome.chrome.storage.local: We use this to save the application's current state (like the status message "Sending..."). This data is stored locally and is not synced.
Host Permission (web.whatsapp.com): Required to add the WABoost sidebar and functionality to the WhatsApp Web page.storage: Required to save your message templates and the app's status locally on your machine.scripting: Required to inject the code that sends messages on your behalf from your browser.tabs: Required to find the correct WhatsApp Web tab to interact with.
We may update this privacy policy in the future. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the extension's description on the Chrome Web Store.
