Extension name: LinkedIn Analytics
Developer: FTW Co.
LinkedIn Analytics by FTW Co. is a browser extension that helps users analyze publicly visible LinkedIn post performance and generate downloadable reports.
This extension is designed to process data locally in the user's browser. It does not operate a remote backend and does not transmit analyzed LinkedIn data to FTW Co. or to any third party.
The extension may access the following information on LinkedIn pages that the user actively opens:
- Publicly visible LinkedIn post content
- Publicly visible engagement metrics such as likes, comments, reposts, and impressions when available
- Publicly visible profile names and post metadata needed to build reports
- The LinkedIn page URL needed to navigate to profile activity pages the user requests
The extension may also access:
- User-entered search fields inside the extension popup, such as a target profile name, company, or text filter
- A locally stored theme preference for the popup interface
The extension uses this information only to:
- Analyze LinkedIn post performance inside the browser
- Build charts, summaries, and rankings
- Generate downloadable PDF, Excel, and JSON reports
- Show a completion notification when analysis finishes
- Remember the popup light/dark theme locally
The extension does not store LinkedIn analytics data on external servers.
The extension stores only a small local preference in the browser for UI theme selection. This preference remains on the user's device and is not shared externally.
Generated reports are saved only when the user explicitly downloads them.
The extension does not sell, transfer, or share personal information, browsing activity, LinkedIn content, or analytics results with third parties.
All report generation and analysis happen locally in the user's browser session.
If notifications are enabled, the extension may display a local browser notification when an analysis run completes. These notifications are generated on-device and are not sent to any external service by the extension.
The extension uses the following Chrome permissions:
activeTab: to interact with the currently open LinkedIn tab when the user starts an analysisscripting: to inject the extension's bundled content script into the active LinkedIn tabnotifications: to show a local completion notification after analysis finisheshttps://www.linkedin.com/*host access: to analyze LinkedIn pages the user intentionally opens
The extension does not use remotely hosted code, remote scripts, or external analytics SDKs.
All scripts used by the extension are bundled with the extension package.
Users control when the extension runs. The extension analyzes only LinkedIn pages that the user intentionally opens and manually chooses to process.
Users can stop using the extension at any time by disabling or uninstalling it from Chrome.
