Dice Game - Console PsuedoCode 4/6 8:54pm
//Start on Main Menu background of GUI
- Welcome statement "Welcome to Three to Twenty Three: A simple dice game inspired by Blackjack. Select an option below: "
- (GUI has "HOW TO PLAY" button, "PLAY" button, "SCOREBOARD" button, "STATS" button)
- If user clicks "HOW TO PLAY" button, display a graphic or text pop-up that shows instructions, then "ok" btn to exit instructions
- If user clicks "SCOREBOARD," button, displays this info, then "ok" btn to exit back to main menu
- If user clicks "STATS," button, displays stats from previous players/games, then "ok" btn to exit back to main menu
- If user clicks "PLAY," button:
"Enter your initials, 3 letters only" // only allow letters, change all input to upper for consistency, limit 3 char
if non-valid input, "ok" button stays grayed out
else "ok" button clickable Only option is to click "ok" at this point.
[scoreboard] gets user initials and score of 0 // to be updated later
when "ok" button clicked, go to new backdrop //now they're in the game-play mode
