Description of Role:
KITE needs a full-stack software engineer intern to join our Denver based product team (remotely). Candidates will get to work on multiple components of our technology stack to advance our enterprise Saas platform and implement our robust product roadmap. This role provides the opportunity to work with industry professionals and learn how a startup software team works.
Location:
Remote or on site for our Denver, CO Office
About The Role:
- Build and maintain high quality products and features across the KITE web application.
- Take ownership of feature development from concept to launch.
- Work cross-functionally with other engineers and product stakeholders.
About You:
- Experience developing across the stack with OO languages like Ruby and JavaScript (or comparable) and MVC frameworks.
- Experience owning features from end-to-end and writing production quality software that is easy to use and maintain.
- Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- Experience with version control (git or comparable).
- Ability to learn, think on your feet, and adapt quickly in a startup environment.
- Willing to spend extra hours learning new skills when needed.
- Some education in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
Bonus:
- Experience in Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with modern web frameworks such as Ember.js.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs.
