So this evening I had a bicycle ride on my trike just for the heck of it. This is so unusual. I left my apartment rode my bike and came back. I didn't stop for a drink. I made no errands. I didn't visit anybody. All I did was go for a bicycle ride.
It was very nice. And yet it still seems like a gigantic waste of time. And yes, I do know, that I must do more to keep my body in reasonable shape in order to stay healthy.
I'm not saying the bicycle ride was not fun. It is. I enjoy it quite a bit. I really like seeing what's in my hood and I like seeing the people walking by and enjoying nature and being in the moment. The sky was beautiful and so was the Moon peering through the clouds. The clouds were wispy and gold.
But I still wish I didn't have to do it because I always feel like I could make better use of my time. So when will I wake up to the reality that this is very good use of my time. ;-)
So today was an admin day. I ordered stuff on Amazon and make some telephone calls and took care of Evernote and GitHub. I reserved a car share - so I can pick up Alex at the airport tomorrow. She texted me on the way to the airport - in an Uber with Isabelle. And I think I learned how to sync personal dictionaries among different Android devices. The sink actually hasn't happened yet, but fingers crossed it will happen.
Up fairly early! Alix arrives in a few hours! Yay!
No emails of great interest this morning. So I did get a nice reply from Ane regarding my message to her.
No great news today, mostly reports on the Orlando killings. Interesting thing did happen colon Bernie and Hillary got together for meeting apparently just see what they can do to work together to combat the Republican candidate. Still no word on the new particle that CERN may have found. Interesting article on how the Microsoft purchase of LinkedIn may have been affected by Creative Accounting that occurs when stock options are given because stock options I have a special tax benefit or exemption.
I am an architect. In architecture Kama most projects are not built. Therefore the only record of the project is the drawings and sketches that we used to create the design that was never built.
If you go to the Picasso Museum in Paris, among the displays there are many who will see quite a few of Picasso sketch books open to a page. And there you will see a beautiful sketch. Because it was very good about keeping the history of the development of his art. He did many many sketches for the demoiselle d'avignon and for most of his other major works. And he kept those sketches he recorded the sort processes that he used to create a work.
Perhaps in a similar manner I'm doing the same thing. Here's the thing. And get everything is recorded. All revisions are kept. The thing is that the revisions don't run or they do if you put in a lot of effort. One of the reasons I keep Provisions the way I do in the normal traditional just number your drawings kind of thing. Is that every revision I make is clickable and runnable and therefore viewable now. You can watch the history and the development of a script or process from the beginning to the final product very easily.

All of the above prey on the disenfranchised.
They give voice to peeps who previously felt without voice.
But that is not the real point.
The more real point is that the prevailing powers - the peeps with money - give birth to the belief systems of millions of people that willingly takes on these new 'leaders'.
Trump is a gas bag. Even he seems to know that.
The interesting thing is that this gas bag has caused huge numbers of voters to vote for this gas bag.
