TAB SWEEP PRIVACY POLICY

Tab Sweep ("we," "our," or "the extension") is committed to protecting your privacy.

DATA COLLECTION
Tab Sweep does not collect, store, transmit, or share any user data. Period.

WHAT WE ACCESS
Tab Sweep requires certain Chrome permissions to function:
- tabs: To monitor tab activity and close inactive tabs
- storage: To save your settings locally in your browser
- notifications: To alert you about inactive tabs
- alarms: To periodically check for inactive tabs

All of these permissions are used exclusively within your local browser. No information ever leaves your device.

LOCAL STORAGE ONLY
Your settings (behavior mode, inactive time, whitelist domains, etc.) are stored exclusively in your browser using Chrome's local storage API. This data:
- Never leaves your computer
- Is not transmitted to any server
- Is not accessible to us or any third party
- Can be deleted by uninstalling the extension

NO TRACKING OR ANALYTICS
Tab Sweep does not use:
- Google Analytics or any analytics service
- Cookies
- Tracking pixels
- Error reporting services
- Any form of user tracking

NO THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Tab Sweep does not communicate with any external servers or third-party services. It operates entirely within your browser.

YOUR BROWSING DATA
Tab Sweep can see which tabs you have open and when they were last active, but this information:
- Is only used to determine which tabs are inactive
- Is never recorded or stored
- Is never transmitted anywhere
- Exists only temporarily in browser memory

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Tab Sweep does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update this document with a new "Last Updated" date.
