Discrepancy of 3nm boundary around YBBN for RPAS operations
Abstract
There is a discrepancy between the following documents:
- CASA Can I Fly There? app
- the paper aeronautical charts.
- the website https://casa.dronecomplier.com/external
- airservices website Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) in controlled airspace
The 3nm boundary around YBBN on the CASA Can I Fly There? app is consistent with the paper aeronautical chart when measuring 3nm from the YBBN RWY01 threshold.
The website https://casa.dronecomplier.com/external and the airservices website report a boundary of approximately 4.5nm from the YBBN RWY01 threshold.
