"Copy as unformatted plain text" is a browser extension that strips formatting from copied text. This policy explains how we handle your data.

Data Collection

We do not collect any data.

This extension:

• Does not collect personal information
• Does not track browsing history
• Does not send data to external servers
• Does not use analytics or tracking
• Does not store any information beyond the current browser session

How the Extension Works

When enabled on a tab, the extension intercepts the copy action and removes formatting from the copied text. This happens entirely within your browser. No data leaves your device.

Permissions

The extension requires the following permissions:

• contextMenus: To show the "About" option when right-clicking the extension icon

The extension also uses a content script that runs on web pages to intercept copy events. This script only activates when you explicitly toggle the extension ON for that tab.

Data Storage

This extension does not use any persistent storage. Toggle states are held in memory only and are cleared when you close the tab or browser.

Third Parties

This extension does not share data with third parties because it does not collect any data.
