The data source is immigration programs from The Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC) including the H1-B visa.

The providing dataset contains data from 2011-2016. And its already cleaned and randomly selected 10000 raws for studying purpose.

  1. wage change along years
  2. distribution of petition
  3. relationship between FULL_TIME_POSITION,SOC_NAME, status,
  • h1b_1.csv: this file are grouped by 'YEAR' and 'CASE_STATUS' and get the number of case status in different years.
  • h1b_2.csv: this file shows the number of petition in each year.
