Good Practices

  • always have an agenda for the meeting
  • always follow up after the meeting
  • what are the takeaways from the meeting.
  • capture key points, action items and decisions from the meeting and assign action items to appropriate meeting participants.

The Structure of the Meeting

Meeting Types:

  • information sharing
  • brainstorming
  • decision making

Tips

  • replace edit with present when sharing a Google doc/slide link.
  • conduct quartly polls to evaluate the effectiveness of the meeting.
    • the frequency of the meeting: too often, not often enough, just right
    • the length of the meeting: too short, too long, just right
  • measure push vs pull percentage.
