Changing font sizes of HTML ouput in Rmarkdown
---
title: "Untitled"
author: "Francisco Rodriguez-Sanchez"
date: "Thursday, January 22, 2015"
output: html_document
---
<style type="text/css">
body, td {
font-size: 14px;
}
code.r{
font-size: 12px;
}
pre {
font-size: 12px
}
</style>
- body, td, is for normal text
- code.r is for r code
- pre is for output of knitr chunks
This is an R Markdown document. Markdown is a simple formatting syntax for authoring HTML, PDF, and MS Word documents. For more details on using R Markdown see <http://rmarkdown.rstudio.com>.
When you click the **Knit** button a document will be generated that includes both content as well as the output of any embedded R code chunks within the document. You can embed an R code chunk like this:
```{r}
summary(cars)
```
You can also embed plots, for example:
```{r, echo=FALSE}
plot(cars)
```
Note that the `echo = FALSE` parameter was added to the code chunk to prevent printing of the R code that generated the plot.

This does not work for ioslides. Could you recommend alternatives for ioslides?

Hi @reddylee

Yes, just add the font name in font-family. For example:

<style type="text/css">

body, td {
  font-family: Calibri;
  font-size: 12px;
}
code.r{
  font-size: 9px;
}
pre {
  font-size: 10px
}
</style>
