This is a proposed change to the district schools cross country course based on a previous course that could no longer be used due to major changes to Bundoora park.

Two major changes that significantly affect the course are:

  1. Road now east of water tower.
    For the 3KM course, due to the increased park area due to the road changes near the water tower (North East) it is possible to extend the course to go around the water tower and remove the confusing detour on the east side of the 2KM course.

  2. Ground changes between dams
    The previous course map shows approach to finish line winding between ground that is now impassable. The proposed course utilises a small wooden bridge near the road to cross this ground toward the finish line.

Other items of note:

  • Dead tree has been removed and is no longer a valid landmark.
  • Dams and water features have been moved.
  • Assembly area now has a childrens playground.
  • Major changes to roads.
  • Carpark not as marked.
