I agree to comply with all terms and conditions of my Academic Year Housing Contract 2019-2020 (“Housing Contract”), I acknowledge that my Housing Contract is modified as follows:
The occupancy period of my Academic Year Housing Contract 2019-2020 (“Housing Contract”) was previously modified to end on March 29, 2020. I have requested that Cornell extend the occupancy period of my Housing Contract through May 17, 2020 at 2:00 pm.
The University may reassign me to a different room or building at any time and for any reason, including for purposes of quarantine or isolation of myself or others.
The University has the right to close the residence halls at any time during the occupancy period. If this occurs, I will comply with the University’s instructions and regulations for vacating my room.
I will notify the Housing Office if I vacate my room prior to May 17, 2020. If I do so, I will not be entitled to any rebates or credits of housing or dining fees.
I agree not to travel domestically or internationally during the remainder of the occupancy period, including during spring break. If I travel more than 50 miles from the University’s Ithaca campus, or otherwise violate travel restrictions announced by the University during the occupancy period, the University may terminate my Housing Contract and deny me access to campus. In the event of such termination, I will not be entitled to any rebates or credits of housing or dining fees.
I agree to comply with the event and gathering restrictions announced by the University, whether now in effect or imposed at a later date. If I violate these restrictions, the University may terminate my Housing Contract and deny me access to campus. In the event of such termination, I will not be entitled to any refunds or credits of housing or dining fees.
I agree to comply with any additional limitations, restrictions, or policies imposed by the University for the health and safety of our community during the occupancy period. If I violate these restrictions, the University may terminate my Housing Contract and deny me access to the campus. In the event of such termination, I will not be entitled to any refunds or credits of housing or dining fees.
I acknowledge that the University may reduce or eliminate student or academic support services, including but not limited to library access, dining services, and recreation services. I will not be entitled to a rebate or credit or any housing fees in the event of a reduction or elimination.
I acknowledge that only individuals contractually assigned to the room can occupy the room.
I acknowledge that my Housing Contract does not provide for housing beyond the occupancy period, including but not limited to summer housing. For those that need to stay beyond May 17th, 2020 an additional housing application will be required later this semester.
