Privacy Policy – Meta Cleaner

Meta Cleaner (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our app collects, uses, and protects your data.

1. No Personal Account Required

We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal identifying information to use Meta Cleaner. The app operates entirely on your device.

2. Local Processing Only

All photo and video metadata removal is performed locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or transmit your media files or any of their contents to our servers or third parties.

3. Analytics and Crash Reporting

To improve app stability and usability, we use the following third-party tools:
	•	Sentry (Crash Reporting): Captures anonymized crash logs and device information (such as OS version and device model) to help diagnose technical issues.
	•	Google Analytics for Firebase: Collects aggregated, anonymous usage data such as screen views and feature usage patterns. This helps us understand how users interact with the app.

These tools do not collect or store your personal content, photo/video files, or metadata.

4. Permissions

Meta Cleaner requests access to your photo and video library to allow you to select media for cleaning. This permission is used only for the intended functionality and is never used to access your entire library without your explicit interaction.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share or sell any personal data. Data collected via third-party services (e.g., Sentry and Google Analytics) is subject to their respective privacy policies and used solely for app performance and improvement.

6. Your Privacy Choices
	•	You may revoke photo/video access at any time in your device settings.

7. Children’s Privacy

Meta Cleaner is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the updated version and update the effective date at the top of this page.
