Thanks for this! It's working. However, I had to edit /var/lib/pacman/local/m17n-db-*/files
instead of /var/lib/dpkg/info/m17n-db.list
as per the instructions in install.txt. Everything else was the same.
I do have one issue while typing in bijoy-classic. If there's a " ে-কার" at the beginning of a word and there's a space before it, sometimes the space disappears. I have to press space twice for it to register, which is quite annoying.
It worked. thanks
no worries.😁

as i am not using linux right now the problem you are facing i can't help with it right now but as you know in linux nothing is smooth if you have to get your self out from the comfort zone and have to work as its working but i think i had discovered another method to install bijoy on linux which was working perfectly but currently as i said i am not using linux i almost forgot the method. but the rest is working for you, thanks for using this trick. further correction will be added if found or if you find any solution just post it here. thanks again
It worked. thanks
