My Academic career saw two main periods: the first, in which I mostly studied Logic and Philosophy of Science (Kurt Gödel) and a second dedicated to Ethic and Aesthetic (Walter Benjamin).
Started traveling around Europe at age 16. Central America at 22, South America following year. That helped my knowledge of both spoken Spanish and English and also widened my mind on the richness of cultural diversity.
Worked in two Bookshops for about 3 years while studying Philosophy:

2003: Started as music and theatre "heavy duty" crew, learning by watching light and scenography technicians. Less than a year and I become a freelance member of Music Service worked for some major italian rock groups. Again 1 year passed and I got my first contract for an italian theatre tour as Chief Light Engineer for Stardust International ; many others followed, together with many contracts in Rome Theatres (especially for Teatro Vittoria) till 2008/2009.

Technology presence has been a constant of my life, starting from early '80 game consoles to actual high end servers. I have to thank my father passion and curiosity for everything that had some electronic component inside which put me in contact with computers at a very young age.
During the years I often helped my father in his small Computer Repair laboratory in Florence. We assembled home computers from scratch, upgraded machines and fixed whatever OS/Software problems the customers had with their computers.
Started dual booting windows and linux in the late nineties until linux became my sole platform in 2005. Studied linux on my own since then (I did LPI 101 exam in 2007) as a passionate hobbyist. I even gave some minor contribution to the Open Source Community during my learning process (Ubuntu/Debian bug fixing and a tiling terminal emulator called Terminator).
In 2007 I sold a simple parking accounting and management application written in Python/GTK to Garage Fosi marking my de facto official entrance in software development.
Since December 2008 I have been working for Exelab and Panmind where I manage about 20 Linux Servers (bare-metal and virtualized) hosting a wide range of services as the sole system administrator. I contribute to the software development process as Scrum Master and often write Ruby and Python code in first person.
During these 3 years and a half I have had the opportunity to apply my knowledges in a production critical environment and to get in touch with a lot of cutting edge technologies and processes.
