Preparation

  1. USB - > 8GB
  2. Moutain Lion from App Store
  3. Compatible hardware

Getting your fucking hand dirty

Making bootable and installable Hackintosh USB with UniBeast

Note : Make sure the bold text is exact the same

Change DMG file to InstallESD.dmg

Open the dmg file and drag the Install OS X Mountain Lion.app to Applications.

Unmount the InstallESD.dmg

Right click on Install OS X Mountain Lion.app > Show Package Content

Create new named folder SharedSupport and drag our InstallESD.dmg to this folder.

We have the same application file as we order from App Store. Now you can use Unibeast normally

Now you can install using UniBeast normally.

#Booting UniBeast

  1. Have the right [hardware]
  2. The firmware and configuration for the mainboard is also important. Make sure you dig the tonymac forum for the right configuration.
  3. Make sure to put your USB in USB 2.0 slot otherwise it won't work.

My specification when writing this tutorial:

  1. Motherboard - Gigabyte DS3H Z77
  2. Bios F8 - Flash through Q-flash
  3. Graphics: HD4000 integrated with i5-3570K

i have followed same procedure using both unibeast 5 and 6. it is showing incomplete download...what to do???
