Materials Atlas has a collection of 3D experiments and simulations for a variety of material systems. It was developed using the funds coming from D3-D: Digital Materials program sponsored by the [Office of Naval Research] (http://www.onr.navy.mil/) (ONR) and the [Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency] (http://www.darpa.mil/default.aspx) (DARPA). It is maintained by [Iowa State University] (http://www.iastate.edu/) and operated by [The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society] (http://www.tms.org/TMSHome.aspx) (TMS).
Data related to 3D microstructures obtained from experimentation can be found in this section. Experimental techniques include:
