Stop hating on Israel
Let me ask you a question. What was the currency of Palestine in 1800? 1900? 1930? Who was the Palestinian prime minister in 1940? Where was the Palestinian capital 1935? 1944?
See, you can't answer those questions, because Palestine is a mythical place, invented to drive Jewish people out of their historical homeland. There was never a Palestinian people.
I say historical homeland, because the Jewish people have had not one, but two, well documented civilizations there long before Palestine was invented by the Jordanians and other arabs who had lived in the area.
The only reason one would propagate the lie of Palestine is if they didn't want Jews there for some reason. The Arab populace of Gaza and West Bank have no less than 22 Arab countries in the immediate vicinity to go to. And they choose to stay and shelter Hamas who continues to fire rockets at civilians because they are Jews.
Additionally, Hamas is using media bias in their favor, and, they're taking advantage of the Syrian tragedy by claiming photos and video from Syria as their own poor "Palestinian" victims. This is another falsehood.
As Westerners, we often view other people's politics through the lens of our own values, encompassing freedom, life, and liberty. It is well documented that Hamas has claimed to "love death as you love life." This means that they cannot and will not accept a two state solution. Not tomorrow. Not ever.
Despite Hamas' savagery, Israel does its best to tolerate them. Israel values human live while Hamas does not. What does that add up to? One side trying to destroy life while dragging the other in to defend it. Israel is this using technology, some very advanced, like the Iron Dome system, and some simple, like text messages, to weed out murderers, while preserving the live of the civilians.
Some folks might say that religious people are fanatics and that the whole region can go to Hell. This is wrong too for several reasons. It is possible, for those ignorant enough to insist upon it, to consider the conflict outside of the scope of religion. Again, what was the capital of the Palestinian state prior to 1948?
Second, and more importantly, what happens if the region does become unstable? Where will the "oppressed Palestinians" turn to next? Jews around the world. And after the Jews, everyone else. They hate life. It's in their very lifeblood to hate life. Ironic, isn't it?
This might be hard for some people to digest, and I urge you to verify everything that I've said and even discuss.
