Tub Beau (Tom Scott) specializes in tracking down and fixing rare and exotic bugs for Workarea developers. Sassafras (his cat) has recently found a seventeenth-century programming text called The Nine Glorks - a legendary book written by Satan himself - after pawing around at the loose baseboard next to her litter box. With the tome in his possession, Beau soon finds himself checking out a strange branch filled with ancient and evil code. Soon after he finds his cubicle ransacked, and fears that he is being shadowed ferociously by a cult of junior developers determined to regain the book.
