This simple script watches the current user's local mail spool file, and sends a libnotify desktop notification if new mail is received.
Useful for local system mails on Linux workstations when your daily driver mail client can't process local mail,
or you don't want it to, but you want nevertheless a GUI notification to read them with simple utilities like mail.
