First and foremost, what do you need to take into consideration when updating from version 1.6 to 1.7? Here is a list:

  • ids, nbt, etc. remain the same, so no need to worry about disappearing blocks
  • config-options have been renamed, so I recommend deleting any old configurations for this mod and editing the new one; here is a short list of changes:
  • options to enable/disable crafting-recipes have been moved into their own category ("crafting")
  • option to check version on startup has been removed, as disenchanter uses the forge update checker for this task now

Enabling legacy generation reverts a change in Streams 0.4.8 that prevented infinite recursion crash in some modpacks, but also caused Streams to become too rare or too small. If you're starting a new world and not using a modpack affected by the crash, you can enable this option by either adding -Dstreams.legacyGeneration=true to your server's Java command or launcher installation's JVM arguments, or setting environment variable STREAM_LEGACY_GENERATION=true. Once enabled for a new world, that world keeps the same value even if the global setting changes later. Built using Forge 14.21.1.2443 and MCP mappings stable_39.

This is a small update to the previously released 6.1.10(-SNAPSHOT) version containing two small but important changes:

  • Fixed tile entity not being updated on blocks of the same type (e.g. pasting a chest onto an existing chest wouldn't paste the contents of the chest).
  • Allowed edits above y = 255, for worlds with extended height limits (eg cubic chunks). This mod requires Minecraft Forge and Java 8. There are no other dependencies. Quick tutorial: Once you download and install WorldEdit, enter a creative world and type //wand. Left click one block, right click a different one, and then type //set glass. You can learn more on the docs.
