That’s right fellow devs! WWDC 2021 is officially underway! Following the same virtual format as last year, with enhanced community interaction and events, it certainly looks to be jam-packed with sessions covering a wide-range of topics.
While Apple certainly has a number of areas of focus, I specifically choose 6 topics I plan to follow this week, in particular. They are CoreML, Swift, SwiftUI/UIKit, Xcode, Accessibility, and Diversity.
If you know me, I’m a SwiftUI fanboy to the MAX. But, Xcode Cloud has particularly caught my eye this year (and yours, too, of course). However, I also wanted to highlight the advances in Accessibility and Diversity this year, with the former always being a valuable resource to bring accessibility into apps, and the latter getting a welcomed spotlight this year.
