Selective Resource Reloading (#4658) has been pushed in Forge RB 14.23.5.2768. This introduces a Forge configuration option (disabled by default for compatibility reasons) that, when game resources are reloaded (e.g through changing the language or updating video settings), Forge will prevent all resources being reloaded, only reloading those that have changed. For example, when changing the language, the game also reloads models and textures, however with this configuration option enabled, only language files would be reloaded, resulting in significantly faster reload times for minor changes.
