- Link to the Past GBA version has an extra dungeon that is only unlocked after beating Four Swords on the same cartridge
- Ocarina of Time 3D & Majora's Mask 3D will be played right after their N64 counterparts instead of waiting until their actual release dates for the purposes of comparing them to the original
- Oracle of Ages & Seasons doesn't have 100% rules on speedrun.com so criteria for those are TBD
- Four Swords Anniversary Edition has a single player mode + 2 new zones
- I plan to play Tears of the Kingdom at launch on my own & play it again or play its "Master Mode" if it exists on stream

Rules:
- I'm doing everything roughly in release order from the initial release of the original game regardless of region
- I will to 100% (defined by speedrun.com) any games that are part of the main Zelda timeline (defined in Hyrule Historia + Breath of the Wild + Tears of the Kingdom)
- I will only play the "best" versions of each game in the series (e.g. any HD version) However I will only play multiple versions of the same game if they drastically change the experience of the game (e.g. Majora's Mask 3D)
- My goal is to experience all meaningful content. So I will do multiple playthroughs if there are additional modes that change the base game. (e.g. Second Quest, Master Quest) This also means that I'll skip things that don't add anything meaningful to the experience (e.g. a new game plus that carries items over and nothing else)
- If I have beaten / completed the game before, I will skip the regular mode and only do the harder difficulty mode for that game if it exists & can be accessed
- The Legendary Series manga will just be read them after their respective games
- Merch & strategy guides not included (t-shirts, game cases, sheet music, sticker books, etc)
