Install

Run a nix container with podman, with the container destination mounted as /mnt:

DEST=~/containers/nixos
mkdir -p $DEST/{dev,proc,etc/nixos}

podman run -v $DEST:/mnt -it --rm --cap-add SYS_ADMIN docker.io/nixos/nix:latest
