“Yes, I saw your letter. Now, I have a meeting to attend so be quick about it.”
“There won’t be a meeting STJ.”
“Why, what happened? The secretary came to remind me just a few minutes ago.”
“It’s a long story STJ but I’ll give you the highlights. The man whose vote counts has been reported missing. Apparently there was a family celebration last night which continued until the early hours of this morning.”
STJ raises a quizzical eyebrow. “What are you trying to say Dr Hyde? Has something bad happened to him?”
“It was only when they were leaving the bar that his family noticed his absence.”
“Where did he go?” STJ asks with concern.
Dry Hyde shrugs. “Who knows. So, no funding for you.”
Expletives explode out of STJ’s mouth like torrent river.
