Bug

Open links with the mouse wheel (middle mouse button, to open them in a new tab), I cannot make them open in a new tab.

Times

• Katie home time 12-00 (more precise: 12:00 - 23:59, I won't write times this precise later, just subtract one minute for all times specified) ( source )

Car strats

1. Caddie from the golf course [current strat].

Katie appeal

• To get her as gf and also to date her, you need to be appeal to her (but only during the moment you get her as gf and pick her up, she does not end dates when you become undesirable).

• Get

  • the jhericurl haircut for $350 (not highfade! sorry memers)
    • Cornrows ($500) are even better if you have the money
    • Flattop ("Will Smith") is "only" as good as jhericurl despite the $500 price (again, sorry memers^^)
    • highfade is a stupid meme and only good enough if you lose muscle somehow
  • a sexy car (see below), barely damage it (<1% damage (going by math)).
  • park it near her: This is the worst parking I got away with (click me):

    

• Make sure that you don't have much muscle. If you have less than 40% muscles, that actually incurs a penalty - which makes no sense at all, but trust me, I have read it in the code and tested it.

  • If you never starve, you might (untested) accumulate enough muscle over the run for this to spoil CJ for her (you starve 48h after the last meal/death(getting busted does not help)/saving(just saving, loading is unnecessary).
    • EBen's thoughts on that: "You should start to starve around the end of LS iirc, so yeah there's a solid chance if you're new and constantly saving you're gonna mess yourself up"

• Note that fat does not matter below 50%

• There is more info in note 2. The points listed here should be enough to know for runs.

Dating Katie

Demo

• Using the building to teleport is more consistent
• Use 1 bullet to end the date.
  • Punching isn't very effective. You need to punch her more than once and hope she does not get healed in between (that is a thing^^). Example
  • a shotgun might be better if your aim is bad?

Avoiding a softlock

You need to wait a bit before skipping the cutscene. Maybe skipping on the second frame is good enough, already, based on code reading. You can just wait for 2s to be safe.

Note 1

Some "references" and demo of my spawn zone doc This sheet shows that the Sultan is a clubber and entertainer car (and triads gang). This map shows that the parking space is in a business zone. This sheet shows that clubbers spawn in business zones at 22-06.

Note 2

• She requires 50 points to get as a gf and to accept you at her door, too.

  • For dates, you get a 7 point bonus from your 15% progress with her.
  • 50 points from the car (if it is in perfect condition)
    • You get -2% for each % damage

  • 5 from the haircut jhericurl
  • -3 from the 6% muscle (yes! that is minus 3!)
    • The minus points for muscle is very weird, but Katie simply does not like muscle unless CJ has at least 40% of it (then she likes it). 0 from fat (she does not care unless you have a lot - 50?

• -> 52 in total (49 with highfade, IIRC).

• The exact formula is:

  1. add sex appeal rounded down (50.9% -> 50 points)
  2. take muscle rounded down, divide by 2 and round down again. Example: 3.7 -> round down: 3 -> divide by 2: 1.5 -> round down: 1. 1 point. If the result is >= 20, add, else, subtract.
  3. For when you want to take her on a date, you get 7 extra points (extra = progress/2 rounded down, you start with 15 for all girlfriends). I need to check whether the formula is identical apart from the extra points. You still only need 50 points to get accepted.
