Things to do after installing Linux:


Install zsh
Install snap

From snap install VS Code and VLC (not from AUR) since it handles
automatic update.


Do not install firefox from snap. Build it locally, see https://wiki.manjaro.org/index.php?title=Install_Firefox_in_your_home_directory. For some reason ~ does
not work, replace it by /home/<Account Name/. The icon is in chrome folder.
