Ponygirl minigame and slavery

Introduction

This text can be freely copied and used.
For the following text, ponygirl can also be read as ponyboy. Pony here refers to the runner, and not to a horse morph. Any morph can participate.

Concept

I got some concept for player-centered slavery scenarios. Ponygirl racing could be a regular and lawful entertainment in LT. Not everybody can enter as a runner though, as the price for entry is quite high. On the other end, the rewards for the winning ponygirl are enough to warrant any kind of risk. Runners usually don't have the funds to self-sustain all the costs associated with the activity, so turning to an independent investor or a ponygirl stable is quite common. Doing so involve signing a contract detailing the obligations of each party. Many kinds of contract can exists depending of the sponsor, the allowed budget gets higher the more freedoms gets wagered.

  • A simple investor will only provide a budget and it'll be up to the ponygirl to figure out where and how to train.
  • A stable could make available part of its infrastructure to the ponygirl, as long as covering the registry fees. Sleep and food would still be at the runner's expense.

Provisions in case of winning or losing are also detailed. If the runner wins the reward will go to repay the sponsor's investment (plus interests), if money remains after that it'll go to the runner. In case of losing, and if the costs related to the training and registry fees are above the agreed budget, the runner becomes property of the sponsor under the provision of the contract. That is, the sponsor cannot do whatever they want with the loser and in most cases the runner becomes an indentured servant.

If the sponsor is a stable, the contract would usually lean towards furthering the stable's stock. Training the ponygirl until she earns enough to pay off existing debts, then give a choice to the runner:

  • Set free, while agree to never run again like a non competitive agreement. Other
  • Remain property of the stable for an extended period of time in exchange of monthly payment on a locked account owned by the runner.

The stable can also propose to the enslaved runner to breed new ponygirls. If the runner has a working womb, can be used to breed a good "stallion". If the runner do not have a womb, the requirements falls onto the ponyboy to be an exceptionally good runner. A reduction of debt can be offered if agreed, unless the contract specifically allows the runner to be used as property, to be exploited and/or used by the sponsor as they see fit.

If the sponsor isn't a stable but an investor, the allocated budget is usually higher but the indemnity almost always is pure and simple slavery. The runner's becomes the investor slave, which becomes free to sell the ponygirl at an auction which sends the ponygirl to regular game slavery or could be a privately owned pony or whatever. Due to the intense training and the general good fitness of the ponygirl, a probable outcome of slavery could be to become a merchant's carrier, or another.

Other silly outcomes, based on the agreed contract, could be to give birth to a certain amount of pony, or become a relief sex slave for other stallions/herm for a definite amount of time.

Wellbeing of the ponygirl is an important piece of the contract. If the ponygirl falls under the "care" of a stable, the stable becomes responsible for the runner's physical and mental health and that clause is usually extended under the indentured servant section. Stables are not allowed to mistreat their runner, even if the runner's social state is slavery. Theses provisions are generally enforced at the state level, so that a fair exchange is ensured. The aim of the stable/investor is to regain their losses, but that cannot be done at the detriment of the ponygirl. The worse outcome would be simple slavery.

Addendum

The race minigame should involve a possible accidented track and ask the player whether to gain or reduce speed, be careful of the ground (to not trip on something). Ducking and jumping can also be required if obstacles are present. The player always incur the risk of tripping and injuring their characters.

The races are always done naked, usually with a complement ponygirl bridle (bondage style). To reduce floppy bits, any extra appendage should be tied. Artistic body paints at the colors of the sponsors can be used, or tattoos in the case of slaves ponygirls. Aesthetics of ponygirls are very important as the whole business is a giant show, it isn't rare to see ponygirl parades where they are donned in jewelery and/or coats of arms of the sponsors.

The slavery part can be quite challenging to flush out as it relies on the status of the player character to lack freedom. In here, slavery is merely a social status forcing the player into a specific job. What is proposed here is a temporary slavery status, where the player has specific obligations to fullfill while remaining relatively free on a limited map (be it the stables). The player do not need to experience everything that is occuring, summaries can be produced. For example, if the player is on breeding duty, several hours of sexual intercourse can pass and the game will give a summary of the different exchanges after the fact. This would reduce the amount of wasted time doing nothing.

In case of out-of-stable slavery, those outcomes can be used as a segue to other slavery based industry: rental of carriers for traveling merchants, door-to-door sales can be increased if a model is present to entertain the client, porters for travelers or other businesses.

Racing mechanics

Theses are mainly ideas of implementation. They obviously remain open to discussion like the rest of the document.

The basic idea would be a light obstacle-course race. The track should be able to be finished without hurdel if the runner use a moderate pace. During a race, each runner will try to finish first to 3rd place and thus take risks by increasing their speed. As speed increase the reaction time of the runner diminish, thus increasing the chances for mistakes (time loss) and catastrophic failures (forfeit due to injury).

A track is a set of tiles of specific property. Those properties can be:

  • straight line, simple straight line, good for accelerations.
  • hard ground straight line, same as the above, but the ground is specially hard on the runner's naked feet. Difficult to accelerate.
  • simple turn, left or right turn, up to a 90° angle.
  • Zig-zags, fast hard turns obstacle, reducing speed if engaged successfully. Increases the odds of failure at high speed.
  • Jump obstacle, runner needs to jump over a low to moderately high obstacle
  • Duck obstacle, runner needs to lower the head or part of the bust to get through

For each tile, the runner can chose to either:

  • maintain speed: no stamina reduction
  • paced run: restore a bit of stamina in exchange for losing speed
  • slow down: reduce speed, usefull to properly get past obstacles.

The action chose by the runner define how the next tile is approached. If the runner accelerate before a turn, the runner will have an accelerated speed and thus increased risk during the negociation of that tile. If the checks are successful, the player can then chose the next action to take. There should be an understanding of the time needed to switch from lowered position to jumping would take extra time, and that extra time can induce failure if the runner isn't nible enough.

Two primary stats are used for the race:

  • endurance for the stamina.
  • dexterity for the ability of the runner to recover from a position or loss of balance.

The stamina is the energy pool the runner dispose of during the race. Each action uses a bit of stamina, such as accelerating or negociating an osbtacle. The runner can restore a bit of stamina by running at a slower pace. If the runner reach a out of stamina status, the game needs to do a critical check to see whether the ponygirl pass out from exhaustion or manage to continue the race though in a extremely exhausted state (increase the chances for failure).

The idea of contracts proposed above can make use of this mechanic by assigning blame of the runner do not finish a race. That is, it can be alright for a runner to lose as long as they finish the whole race (the sponsor might just want to be seen participating).
