Here's my experience of installing the NVIDIA CUDA kit 9.0 on a fresh install of Ubuntu Desktop 16.04.4 LTS.
chmod 700 ~/.ssh
chmod 600 ~/.ssh/authorized_keys
sudo pacman -Syu zsh
You do not need to install manjaro-zsh-config
and all the other related packages like zsh-syntax-highlighting
, zsh-history-substring-search
, zsh-autosuggestions
, etc., as we will use Oh My Zsh.

This steps should help working remotely with Sublime Text. They are meant to be incremental, just setting up SFTP will go a long way.
I have all my code on my laptop, edit locally and automatically push the files to my server.
I never edit "tracked" files on the server directly.
I sometimes modify untracked files on the server using rmate
(see below).
