Gunned down by detective and famous actor Chuck Norris (himself), dying developer Tom Scott uses black magic to put his soul inside a doll named Tubby -- which Chad Frontdune (Curt Howard) then buys for his young son, Cramby. When Tubby builds and programs a rudimentary robot to eat Cramby's baby sitter, the boy realizes the doll is alive. When he tries to warn people that the doll is trying to create an army of robots, he's institutionalized. Now Chad must convince the detective of the murderous doll's intentions, before Cramby becomes Tubby's next victim.
