What is your collaboration style? How do you feel about pair programming vs. divide-and-conquer approaches?
- We would like to work together when we can. If one of us is not here lats check in about working together apart on slack. If we are feeling crunched for time lats talk about divide and conquer.
- We are both communicators and feel comfortable doing so. We both appreciate open and understanding communication. If there is an important issue to talk about agreeing upon a time to talk is best.
- Both have slow work styles so we will have to work more often in what ever ways we need to to understand the things were are delivering.

What role does empathy play in your life and how has it helped you?
A: I'm a manager of a cafe overseeing a team of 10ish people, and dealing with interpersonal issues is a daily occurrence during which I must often employ emphathy. Empathy plays a role in my everyday life, even in seemingly benign situations such as driving or waiting in lines. At work empathy affords me better emotional understanding of what the employees are going through and in turn allows me to make better and more imformed, rational decisions. In life empathy helps me stay calm in situations that could irritate and frustrate me by challanging me to recognize and understand perspectives that are not mine.
How does empathy help you build better software?
A: It seems that you are often working in groups in Tech today. Emapathy allows for more open minded communication which results in effective teamwork. If everyone in a team feels heard and valued the team can work better and produce efficiently. When issues come up that require hard o

What is your greatest strength and how do you know?
I think my greatest strenth is confrontation in a productive way. I believe it's important to approach people with patience and dignity to get to the bottom of issues. As no one's reality or perspective about the world and how it works is the same it is imperative to remember this when having hard conversations and making decisions that involve the wellbeing and interests of the people with which you are friends, working, or having a brief interaction. I know that this is one of my strengths because it has taken time, practice, and many missteps in communication with people to feel like I am, now, doing it effectively.
Day 1 Chapter 1 and 2 html & css:
- HTML describes the structures of web pages.
- Although often interchangable elements are made up of characters that results in contnet that provides the browser with information. Tags are containers for the elements and add meaning.
- Head: it acts as a header and contains info about the page; chapters in a book. Title: overview of the info on the page and is shown at the top of the browser; name of a book. Body: content on the page and shown in the main browser window; the story.
- Click view tab, click developer tab, click view source.
- h heading, there are 1-6 headings. 1 being the main, every number after denotes subheading. p paragraph of text. b makes characters bold. i, makes characters italic. sup superscript, suffixes on dates and math concepts, up high. sub subscuipt, footnotes or chemical formulas, low on a character.
- Empty elements are elements that do not have any words between tags
- Semantic markup does not affect the structure of the page but does
