Most on-screen blaster bolts move far slower than modern bullets.
Typical rifle / pistol bolts: ≈ 150–200 m s⁻¹ (≈ 335–450 mph) — baseball speed.
Real firearms routinely exceed 700 m s⁻¹ (supersonic).
Only a few Star-Wars weapons (snipers, slugthrowers, TL-50) approach rifle-like velocities.
